The partnership met to discuss clinical wellness, behavioral health, strong workforce and the direction of future research on community health workers. The partnership also received an update on progress and legislative success on incorporating recommendations from the California Future Health Workforce Commission (CFHWC) into the work of EBHWP.
The partnership met to hear a presentation of the California Future Health Workforce Commission’s (CFHWC) Final Report and Recommendations, discuss thoughts and ideas for how to incorporate CFHWC’s recommendations into the work of EBHWP, and to hear updates from other workgroups and partners of EBHWP.
The partnership met to review the updated EBHWP strategic plan elements, gather input from partners on the prioritization of EBHWP initiatives, and get an overview of next steps, funding requests, and additional support needed for EBHWP.
During our meeting on March 28th, each work group gave updates on their initiatives and we dove deeper into our strategic planning including our mission, vision, values, and overarching goals.
During our meeting on November 3rd each work reported its updates, there was a discussion on the alignment of employer programs, as well as a strategic planning exercise.
During our meeting on July 12th we welcomed new program manager Amelia Lopez, gave updates on existing goals and initiatives, discussed summer plans, and heard strategies from each of the work groups: Primary Care, Mental and Behavioral Health, and Work-Based Learning.
